I could repeat the starting line here right now – I havent been on this site in a few years but I have, since last year but more this (especially with lockdown) found more time and inspiration – excitement – to make more cards! Buying bits on eBay during lockdown as I can’t get to shops, I have played around and found new ideas, new skills and inspiration that perhaps began with my daughters planned wedding for 2021 when I made her card and sprouted new ideas all over the place in 2019!
However, now another option to sell them as I have accumulated hundreds over the years and 200 in the last couple of years to date at least!

“I haven’t been on this site in a while. I haven’t actually felt inspired to make cards in recent months either. I used to love free time to have mess around, open to my creativity. Maybe that creativity is being directed elsewhere, towards my business social media and services (Clear Mind Life Coaching & Counselling, Lees, Oldham) and there is nothing left to give to card making for now. I have so much ‘stuff’ and will probably come back to it sometime.
I have made a couple of cards for people but not to my usual standard – more sort of put together without the passion and inspiration. They said what they needed to say but little more. And that’s sad because a card wish should be more than that and say what you feel.
Am I feeling less passionate to the people I’m creating them for maybe? I don’t know. My business is all consuming at the moment, though, so maybe.
