About

I have made cards since 2007 when I began and developed skills, knowledge and enjoyment from then – at a time I was struggling with stress and depression in my life that developed over several years and events.

Selling my creations has been more for enjoying myself creating them and then finding I have too many to store as well as wanting them used and appreciated than for business and profit-making. I haven’t space to keep them all and now models as well.

Since starting this I make specific cards or send those created specifically for friends and family or sometimes choosing from my stash and inspired by special events of family and friends as well.

I can do commission pieces for customers and have done some for family for their friends and families, too.

Now I would encourage everyone to try new things and see what they find is their creative side – we all have it somewhere, somehow whether related to work or pleasure, we find what flows from us into the world.

I get my inspiration to create for a special occasion, an event in the family like a Christening or wedding, or close ones, or with a new item like ribbon, papers, toppers or yearly event celebration (Christmas, Valentines, mother and fathers day etc).

Many of my supplies and much inspiration and learning initially has come from Gwen at The Stamp Pad in Greenfield. Gwen is always helpful and encouraging, inspiring ideas and using materials in new ways and more recently TV stock demos and workshops in Greenfield. Always willing to share ideas and helpful techniques.   I love to visit, buy and ask my questions – it’s my treat!

Other places I find supplies are online at Amazon, Facebook groups and used to be great options from The Range and The Works as well as other providers like Lavinia Stamps.
