Recently I was inspired by a ‘first anniversary’ for dating rather than marriage of a family member, and this is the card that transpired – also inspired by one I found on the internet which I often do if I want something different or just ideas.
This is four separate openings to the card, cut into the two sides to meet in them middle, each one able to be opened separately. You can put things on the inside of the flaps too – words, stickers or stamp perhaps, with your wishes on the back inside which I covered with red and white paper and hung from the top two red hearts tied together
Wedding card on the same theme but flaps haven’t been cut here, so two solid sides pared on a box maker,
so they meet at the centre
The full card in cream & white with silver
The floral bouquet and grey ribbon…
alternating matching piece with silver hearts on opposite side
Wedding cake and shoes on silver Angel hair background…
…and horshoe too on matching background – staggered placements
And this one in the making, using the beautiful beaded ribbon from The Stamp Pad, Greenfield,
which just ‘makes’ the wedding them for the cards …
This will stay plain (at my dagghter’s suggestion) with just the two decorative flaps with flocked paper and bead design blocks stuck on to the card itself. Probably use the cake, gown and groom, plus flowers to decorate the four corners …
This card was one for a friend, at a same-sex wedding for the two beautiful ladies. This was the excuse to get ‘cute’ and flowery, with pastel pink and green because they were both women ….

Two ‘fairy’ princess cuties with flowers, curls and robes were perfect for a same sex wedding, and the colours were very feminine too, using pink and green ribbon tied into bows to completement the pink rose and green heart background papers. Adding a couple of loose pearls to the flower middles added extra richness to the card along with the pearl ribbon again …
Green heart card inside and cut circles of the heart paper with each picture
