Do you want to sell the cards you make?
It’s hard to do, now at least, with so many new card makers around and options to buy stocks online or in shops.
But if, like me, you make sooo many cards because you have found your creative outlet at last, then there is little option – unless you have a lot of relatives and friends! I have boxes of made up cards of different sizes, colours, reasons and ideas. They are used for every birthday, anniversary or other celebrations in our house, and I would often like to know how they were received if I didn’t hand it over – but I know that my every effort and my creativity and heart went into each one.

Every card I put in the boxes (and don’t pull out again as I sometimes do, when it doesn’t reach the mark for me) is one I treasured and loved once made, and one I am proud of. Therefore, when you give a hand made card, when you made it from scratch, means you gave it your all for that person – you made it, then chose it or even made it specifically for their celebration then it means so much more, for you and for them.
Enjoy the making, enjoy the sharing and if you can – let others share those efforts and pleasures, if you can find a way to sell them on or give away for charity perhaps.
