Whilst dropping in at The Stamp Pad in Greenfield, Oldham, late afternoon on my home from work today Gwen received a delivery. Whilst chatting and mooching around the shop, she was excitedly sharing what was in the boxes she received … some Christmas stamps, and other bits and pieces … some Wizard of Oz books of paper – “But what would you do with them?” I asked (and she told me and I wandered off again) and then ………..”Do you like Twighlight?” she called over to me.
Some uses of the papers from this book …

I shot over! I love Twilight – or rather the love story, the characters and the vampire basis which has always intrigued me! But most of all I love Edward (and am very jealous of Bella, especially November’s next film where they ….) although I must say Jacob is close on his heels too!
So what did she have? A 12 x 12 book of fantastic, ‘gothy’ designs – 24 and two of each to play with!
I was – am – in heaven! I can’t wait for the chance to design cards – I have pople in mind already who will appreciate the effects of dark and dangerous designs – and and also start the scrapbook I am going to make for a family member who is also a fan (but not as big a fan as me…).
And, guess what? I have the ONLY book so far! At least in this area…. Gwen only ordered one to look at, uncertain that it would be of interest to her customers – like me …. Well, let me tell you and I confirmed to her, it most definitely will be!!!! I just love it for the drama, the colours and the new perspective it is likely to give to my designs using these … can’t wait!
It is gorgeous – dark, deep and very sexy! Blacks, reds, burgunday, moons and trees, woods and nights, eyes and glitter too!
(Now there’s an idea – glittering eyes to create ….)
I am very excited and when I got home and looked over it again, ideas have already started coming so I really can’t wait to start!
I will, of course, share anything I make from the papers, although the scrapbook won’t be started until later this year, even next year.
If you want to see the papers I will post some on here – I dont want to spoil the surprise of these gorgeous designs for you!
But Gwen is getting some more soon, in the next month or so and I am sure you can order your’s now! Enjoy and share with me what you do with your book too!
